Compliance queue
Open Credentials → Queue in Thermal →
What it's for
The Compliance queue is the short list of credentials that need attention — "Expiring, expired, unverified, and revoked technician credentials". Rather than reading the whole credential file looking for problems, you read this.
Reach it from People → Compliance queue in the sidebar, at
/credentials/queue.
Tabs
The screen has no tabs. It is one worklist.
Panels and controls
- Columns: Credential, Technician, Status, and Expires. Status is what puts a row here in the first place: expiring soon, already expired, never verified, or revoked.
- Alert threshold decides how far ahead an expiring credential appears. Set it to the notice period your shop actually needs to get a card renewed — if renewals take six weeks, a two-week threshold is too late to be useful.
- Opening a row takes you to the credential itself, where you can verify, renew, or revoke it.
- No credentials on file is the empty state, which on a new shop means nothing has been recorded yet rather than that everything is clean.
What it accepts
| Field | Format | Required | Rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alert threshold | A whole number of days | Yes | "Enter a whole number of days."; "Threshold must be between 1 and 365 days." |
How to configure it
- The Alert threshold on this screen is the setting; it applies to the whole shop.
- Compliance settings decide which credential types exist and which work requires them.
- The credentials themselves are maintained on Credentials.
Who can see it
This screen sits behind the Staff area.
Owners and office managers can open it. Dispatchers and technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
The full role matrix is on Roles & permissions.
