Tech app pattern catalog

What it's for

This page is the design-system reference for the technician's mobile app — the sibling to the desktop pattern catalog. Every shared mobile interface building block is rendered once, at its real spec, matching the tech app's design source. It is not a place where work gets done; nothing on it edits real data, and the sample jobs and readings shown are fixture data, not real records.

Reach it directly at /kit-patterns/tech. It isn't linked from the sidebar.

Tabs

The screen has no tabs. It is a single long page of ten numbered, labelled sections, each showing one building block.

Panels and controls

The page walks through, in order: a sync-status chip, a three-way segmented control, the mobile variant of the InsightRecord result card, a phone-sized record card, a status pill, a data-entry field, a loading skeleton tile, a bottom sheet, a sticky bottom action bar, and a horizontal day-chip strip.

Most sections are static — shown at rest for visual comparison. A few are live demos: the sync chip can be seen in a real header context, and an Open sheet control actually opens the bottom-sheet demo so its behavior can be checked, not just its appearance.

What it accepts

This page writes nothing. Any inputs shown are read-only sample data, not live fields — there is no form here that saves anything.

How to configure it

There is nothing to configure here. Nothing on this page is gated by plan or capability — it is a fixed reference view. In development it is open to anyone; in production it requires being signed in as a member of an organization, with no further role check.

Who can see it

This is a public-style internal reference: any signed-in staff member of any role can open it in production, and it's open with no sign-in at all in development. It sits outside the normal area gates because it isn't a product feature — it's a page for checking the tech app's interface components themselves, not the tech app screens technicians actually use in the field.

The full role matrix is on Roles & permissions.
