Manage the company fleet
Fleet is the equipment your shop owns (or brings in from a vendor to re-rent) — spot coolers, gensets, chillers, the units you place on rentals and leases. It isn't company vehicles; it's the same kind of equipment record as installed customer units, just owned by your shop or a vendor instead of a customer.
Fleet states
A unit moves through: Available (in the yard, ready to place) → Reserved → On rent / On lease (deployed) → Maintenance → Retiring. The fleet list groups units by these states so you can see what's ready to go out at a glance.
Register a new unit
Choose Register unit to add a company-owned unit to the fleet directly — unlike customer equipment, a fleet unit doesn't need a service site first.
Bring in a vendor-owned unit
Use Register vendor unit to add equipment your shop doesn't own but re-rents from a supplier. There are two paths on this screen: register a brand-new vendor-owned unit, or convert an idle company-owned unit (one that's available or in maintenance, with no open rental) to vendor-owned.
Check Physically on hand if the unit is already at your yard — it goes straight to Available. Leave it unchecked if you're pre-registering a unit that hasn't arrived yet; it's held in Maintenance until someone confirms receipt from the vendor's record.
Track overdue equipment
Out / Overdue groups three things: units still on rent past their due-back date (with an estimate of what the overdue days are costing you in lost turnaround), units due back this week, and open-ended placements with no due-back date set at all — worth a follow-up call to make sure one wasn't forgotten.
