What it's for
Approvals is where you review and approve website pages, local-search posts, ad copy, social posts, and review replies before anything goes live — and where you set the ground rules for how much of that work can happen without waiting on you.
Reach it from Marketing → Approvals in the sidebar, at
/marketing/approvals.
Tabs
- Queue — drafts waiting on a decision.
- Autonomy — the per-channel Off / Suggest / Auto controls and the master kill switch.
Panels and controls
Queue
Filter chips along the top let you narrow by type: Website, Blog, Ad copy, Social, Reviews. Today the queue is always empty — All caught up — because the integration that drafts marketing content isn't connected on any org yet. New drafts will land here as they're created, each with a plain-language reason and a Dismiss / Approve action.
Autonomy
A Master kill switch stops every channel at once; drafts still queue for you to review by hand while it's on. Below it, six channels each have their own control — Website pages, Local-search posts, Ad copy & budget, Social posts, Review replies, and Google profile posts:
- Website pages and Ad copy & budget never run unattended — a person always approves. Their control is locked to Off/Suggest.
- Local-search posts, Social posts, Review replies, and Google profile posts can run in Auto within stated bounds — for example, review replies auto-post only 4–5 star reviews; 1–3 star reviews always wait for a person, and social posts are capped at two per week.
These controls don't persist yet — the integration they'd govern isn't connected, so there's nowhere to save a live setting. They let you set the rules you want in place ahead of connecting it.
What it accepts
This screen writes nothing to the database yet. The autonomy controls are local to your browser session; nothing you set here is saved or applied until the marketing integration is connected.
How to configure it
- Settings → Capabilities decides whether the Marketing area is switched on for your organization; every module is included, so an owner just turns it on.
- Once connected, the settings on the Autonomy tab become the live rules for what each marketing channel is allowed to do without you.
- Connect the integration from Settings → Integrations to move from the honest "nothing is connected" state to a working queue.
Who can see it
This screen sits behind the Marketing area.
Owners and office managers can open it. Dispatchers and technicians cannot — how much autonomy the shop grants its marketing tools is an owner's decision. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
The full role matrix is on Roles & permissions.
