What it's for
This page is a component showcase, not a working feature. It renders the InsightRecord card — the standard way an automated result is shown to you anywhere in the product, whether that's on the dashboard, the dispatch board, an equipment record, a work order, or the automations inbox — with six real copy examples across its three possible states. It exists so the same card can be reviewed and compared in one place, not to do any work itself.
Reach it directly at /automations/insight-demo. It isn't linked from the
sidebar.
Tabs
The screen has no tabs. It is three stacked sections, one per state.
Panels and controls
The page has no controls — nothing here is clickable in a way that changes data. It lists the same InsightRecord card repeated with different sample copy, grouped under three labels:
- Suggested — a result waiting on your decision, with its plain-language reason and Approve / Dismiss actions shown as they'd appear live.
- Applied automatically — a result that already happened on its own, labelled as such with the reason it was allowed to.
- Dismissed — a result you turned down, shown with that outcome.
Wherever an InsightRecord actually appears in the product, it renders exactly like the examples on this page — same layout, same states, same honesty rule: every card always says whether it's a suggestion, something that already happened, or something dismissed, and why.
What it accepts
This page writes nothing. It has no forms and no server actions — it only renders fixture copy for visual comparison.
How to configure it
There is nothing to configure here. Nothing on this page is gated by plan or capability — it's a fixed reference view, not a product surface a shop turns on or off.
Who can see it
This screen sits behind the Automations area, the same gate as the automations screen itself.
Owners and office managers can open it. Dispatchers and technicians cannot. It isn't intended for day-to-day use by anyone — it's a reference page for reviewing how the InsightRecord card looks and behaves, not a place where marketing, purchasing, or any other module's real results show up.
