What it's for
Operations overview is the shop-wide summary that used to sit on /reports
before that route became the report list. It answers "how is the business
doing right now" in one screen: headline KPIs, a revenue trend, and the SLA and
callback numbers behind them.
Reach it from Reports → Operations overview, at /reports/overview.
Tabs
The page is four in-page tabs, shareable through ?tab=:
- Overview — headline KPIs plus revenue by month, callbacks by cause, and SLA by job type.
- Revenue — revenue by technician, revenue by job type, and A/R aging.
- SLA & response — on-time by technician, the response-time distribution, and on-time by job type.
- Callbacks & quality — callback drivers, at-risk technicians, and CSAT.
Panels and controls
The period selector switches between 30 days, 90 days and YTD; the choice is carried in the URL so a link can be shared. Export CSV downloads the same figures the Overview tab is showing, computed from the same data function, so the file and the screen never disagree.
Each KPI tile carries a short definition of how it is measured. Where a figure has no backing data yet — CSAT and NPS have no survey capture — the tile shows an honest dash rather than an invented number.

The page is a read-out. Nothing on it changes a record.
How to configure it
- Job costing settings decide how revenue and cost are attributed, which is what makes the margin figures real.
- Branches scope the report; the branch picker appears only for multi-branch orgs.
Who can see it
This screen sits behind the Reports area.
Owners, office managers and dispatchers can open it. Technicians cannot. The gate is checked on the server, not just hidden in the sidebar, so a direct link does not get around it.
