Cylinder card
What it's for
The cylinder card is the public page a refrigerant cylinder's QR tag resolves to. Anyone scanning the tag on the tank, or holding a link to it, sees which refrigerant it holds, its capacity, and whether it's still in service — no account needed.
Reached by scanning the tag on the cylinder, or opening a link to it
directly. The route is /p/cylinder/<token>.
Tabs
The page has no tabs. It is the card itself.
Panels and controls
- The shop name at the top identifies whose cylinder it is.
- Cylinder plus the serial number is the heading.
- A short list shows Refrigerant, Capacity in ounces, and a Status badge — In service or Retired.
That's the whole card. Unlike the asset, capital plan, and inspection cards, there is no print button here — it's meant to be glanced at on a phone while standing at the tank, not printed.
What it accepts
Nothing. The card is read-only. It shows the cylinder's own record and takes no input.
How to configure it
Nothing in Settings changes this page. It shows the cylinder's own Serial, Refrigerant, Capacity, and Status fields exactly as recorded in Inventory — update the cylinder's record there to change what the card shows.
Who can see it
This page opens from a secure link — no login, no account. Anyone holding the link, or standing at the tank and scanning its tag, can open it, and the link is the only way in. That is the intent: a technician in the field should be able to scan a tank and immediately see what's in it, so treat tagging a cylinder as making that much of its record public.
Your staff see cylinders inside Cylinders inventory — there's no separate internal record page for a single cylinder; the inventory list is where your team manages them.
