What it's for

The customer portal is where your customers see their own account — quotes, invoices, agreements, service history, and paperwork — without phoning you. Every self-service question a customer answers themselves is a call your office does not take.

Your customers reach it at /portal after signing in with the invite you sent from their customer record.

Tabs

The portal home has no tabs. It links to the sections: Quotes, Invoices, Agreements, Sites, History, and Documents.

Panels and controls

  • The home screen points at what needs the customer's attention — quotes waiting for a decision and invoices waiting to be paid.
  • View quotes, View invoices, and Acceptance runs go straight to those sections.
  • Sign out ends the session.
  • Try again reloads a panel that failed rather than leaving a blank space.

Each customer sees only their own account: their sites, their jobs, their paperwork. There is no route from one customer's portal to another's.

What it accepts

The home screen takes no input. Actions live in the sections it links to.

How to configure it

  • Customer portal settings decide whether the portal is available, which sections appear, and what a customer can do in each. Manage it from Customer portal in the office app.
  • Branding settings decide how the portal looks to your customers.
  • An invite is sent per customer from their record, and needs an email address on the account.

Who can see it

This screen is part of the customer portal. Your customers reach it with a portal login, and each one sees only their own sites, jobs, and paperwork.

It is not part of the office app, so your own staff never land here in the course of their work. To see what a customer sees, use the office-side Customer portal screen.
