Shared proposal

What it's for

A shared proposal is a quote sent as a link. The customer opens it, reads what is being offered, and approves it — no account, no password, no portal login. It is the fastest path from a technician's recommendation to a signed job.

Your customer opens it from the link you send. The route is /p/<token>.

Tabs

The page has no tabs. It is the proposal.

Panels and controls

  • The options on offer, each itemised, so the customer can compare rather than being handed one number.
  • The terms — the install window and the warranty offered.
  • Request financing info where your shop offers financing. A customer who balks at a total often accepts a monthly figure, and asking for the information is a lower-commitment step than approving.
  • Approve this proposal accepts it. That acceptance is recorded against the proposal in your office immediately, ready to convert into a work order, agreement, project, or invoice.

Nothing on the page shows your cost or margin. It shows what was quoted.

A share link is the only way in, so treat it the way you would treat the quote itself. Links can expire, and an expired one says so rather than showing a broken page.

How to configure it

  • Proposals settings decide the terms, the validity period, and how options are presented.
  • Deposits settings decide whether a deposit is requested on acceptance.
  • Financing options come from your shop's configuration; where none is set up, the request control does not appear.
  • Branding settings decide how the page looks.

Who can see it

This page opens from a secure link you send — no login, no account. Anyone holding the link can open it, and the link is the only way in.
