What it's for
Sites in the customer portal lists the customer's service locations. For a single-location customer it is a formality; for a facilities manager running twenty buildings it is the index to everything else in the portal.
Your customers reach it from the portal, at /portal/sites.
Tabs
The screen has no tabs. It is the list of sites on the account.
Panels and controls
- The sites on the account, each with its address and the label your shop gave it.
- Each site is the way into what is there — the equipment, the visits, and the invoices belonging to that location.
- No service sites on record is the empty state. On an account that has had work done, it means the sites have not been recorded properly in the office, which is worth fixing: without sites, nothing else in the portal groups usefully.
The site labels the customer sees are the ones your office typed. "Main St rental" is more use to them than "Site 2", and this is the screen where that choice shows up.
What it accepts
The screen takes no input. Sites are created and edited in the office app on the customer record.
How to configure it
- Customer portal settings decide whether the sites section appears.
- Site labels, addresses, and access notes are set on the customer record in the office app. Access notes are internal and are not shown here.
- Branding settings decide how it looks.
Who can see it
This screen is part of the customer portal. Your customers reach it with a portal login, and each one sees only their own sites.
It is not part of the office app. Your staff manage sites on the customer record.
