Service history (portal)

What it's for
Service history in the customer portal is the record of work you have done for that customer. It is the page that wins the renewal argument: a year of visits, dated, with what was done on each.
Your customers reach it from the portal, at /portal/history.
Tabs
The screen has no tabs. It is one chronological list.
Panels and controls
Columns: Date, Work performed, Technician, and Status.
- Work performed is the customer-facing description of the visit, not internal notes. What the technician wrote for the customer is what appears here; what they wrote for the office does not.
- Technician by name matters more than it looks — a customer who recognises the name on a visit is a customer who trusts the record.
- No service sites on record is the empty state, and it means the account has no sites yet rather than no visits.
For a multi-site customer this is the whole estate's history in one place, which is exactly what a facilities manager needs at budget time.
What it accepts
The screen takes no input. It is a read-out of completed work.
How to configure it
- Customer portal settings decide whether the history section appears and how far back it goes.
- What a technician writes for the customer on a job is what shows here, so the quality of this page follows the quality of field notes.
- Branding settings decide how it looks.
Who can see it
This screen is part of the customer portal. Your customers reach it with a portal login, and each one sees only their own service history.
It is not part of the office app. Your staff see the same work on the customer record's Work orders tab, with the internal notes this page omits.
