Schedule (field app)

What it's for
Schedule is a technician's own upcoming work — what is booked, when, and where. It answers the only two scheduling questions a technician actually has: what is scheduled each day, and what the next two weeks look like.
Reach it from the field app navigation, at /tech/schedule.
Tabs
The screen has no tabs. It is the technician's own calendar of assigned work.
Panels and controls
- The schedule lists assigned jobs by day, with the customer, the site, and the time window.
- Opening a job goes straight into it, so the schedule is a way into work rather than a read-only calendar.
- Nothing scheduled means no assigned work in the period shown. Unassigned work they could claim is on Available work.
- Login not linked means the sign-in has not been connected to a staff record yet.
The schedule shows only this technician's own work. The whole shop's board is Dispatch, which is an office screen.
What it accepts
The screen takes no input. Changes to the schedule are made by the office on Dispatch, or from a job when a visit needs to move — which asks for a reason so the office is not left guessing.
How to configure it
- Dispatch decides what is on this schedule.
- Business hours and defaults shape the working day shown.
- Notifications settings decide whether a technician is told when their schedule changes.
Who can see it
This screen is part of the field app. Technicians see it on their own phone or tablet, scoped to the jobs assigned to them.
Office roles work from Dispatch instead; they do not use this screen.
