What it's for

Sync shows what the field app has captured but not yet sent. Field service happens in basements, plant rooms, and rural driveways, so the app is built to keep working without a signal and to be honest about what is still waiting.

Reach it from the field app navigation, at /tech/sync.

Tabs

The screen has no tabs. It is the pending queue.

Panels and controls

  • The queue lists work captured on the device that has not reached the office yet — notes, photos, readings, signatures, consumed parts.
  • Items send themselves as soon as a connection returns. The screen exists so a technician can check rather than assume, particularly before finishing for the day.
  • All synced is the empty state, and it is the one you want to see before leaving site.

Why this screen matters

Work sitting in this queue does not exist in the office yet. A job that looks complete on the phone and empty in the office is almost always a full sync queue, and checking here answers that in one glance instead of a phone call.

What it accepts

The screen takes no input. Sending happens automatically when a connection is available.

How to configure it

Nothing in Settings changes how this screen behaves. Whether the queue drains depends on the connection, not on configuration.

Who can see it

This screen is part of the field app. Technicians see it on their own phone or tablet, showing their own device's pending work.

Office roles work from the office app instead; a technician's pending queue is on their device, not on a server, so there is no office view of it.
